CBI Arrests CGST Superintendent and a Consultant in Bribery Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Superintendent, Land and Building Section at office of Commissioner of CGST and Central Excise, Raigad and a CGST consultant, in a bribery case.
The CBI registered the instant case on 09.09.2026 against the accused Superintendent and unknown others based on a complaint by the Project Head of a private realty company at New Panvel. The realty company had undertaken a redevelopment project of two Buildings at Sector 17, New Panvel.
