Thane, Aug 11 (PTI) The Navi Mumbai Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a senior Sales Tax official for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 8 lakh from a scrap trader to close a Goods and Services Tax (GST) inquiry.
Deepak Ramchandra Kshirsagar (56), the accused, was serving as Assistant Commissioner of Sales Tax, Raigad Division, CBD Belapur, at the time of the offense. He
