Goods and Services Tax – GST – Dated:- 5-7-2017 – New Delhi, Jul 5 (PTI) The government has increased the number of consumer helplines on GST from 14 to 60, with specially trained professionals handling queries related to the new indirect tax regime. The government wants that the benefits of decreased prices, after the imposition of the GST, should reach the common man. For this we have increased the number of consumer helplines to 60, Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan told reporters here.
