{"id":75126,"date":"2026-03-01T17:16:03","date_gmt":"2026-03-01T17:16:03","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2026-03-01T17:16:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-01T17:16:03","slug":"gst-collection-grows-8-1-pc-to-over-rs-1-83-lakh-cr-in-feb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodsandservicetax.in\/GST\/?p=75126","title":{"rendered":"GST collection grows 8.1 pc to over Rs 1.83 lakh cr in Feb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GST collection grows 8.1 pc to over Rs 1.83 lakh cr in Feb<BR>GST<BR>Dated:- 1-3-2026<BR>PTI<BR>New Delhi, Mar 1 (PTI) Gross GST collection increased by 8.1 per cent to over Rs 1.83 lakh crore in February, led by higher growth in revenues from imports and improved domestic sales.<\/p>\n<p>Gross domestic revenue rose 5.3 per cent to about Rs 1.36 lakh crore, while gross import revenue climbed 17.2 per cent to Rs 47,837 crore.<\/p>\n<p>Total refunds were up 10.2 per cent at Rs 22,595 crore.<\/p>\n<p>Total net Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection stood at over Rs 1.61 lakh crore, up 7.9 per cent year-on-year.<\/p>\n<p>Net cess revenue was Rs 5,063 crore, down from Rs 13,481 crore in February last year.
