Hyderabad, Jun 26 (PTI) Ahead of the roll-out of Goods and Services Tax (GST), Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu today said there may be some initial "hiccups", but the new tax regime will help consumers and traders in the long-term.
\nThe GST, nation's biggest tax reform since independence, is set to be implemented from July 1.
\n"The midnight of June 30 will usher in a historic economic transformation the biggest reform in indirect taxes since independence with the rolling out of the GST regime," the Union Information and Broadcasting minister said here.
