Under the said provisions, information should be collected from the above sources for action and on the basis of the information received, if it is clear that the actual turnover of the person concerned is more than Rs. 20 lakh, but the registration has not been taken by him, then action should be taken under the above provisions accordingly. It is noteworthy here that due to the very low value of inputs in most of the businesses in the service sector and the component of knowledge skills etc., the profit of ITC in most service areas is very less, due to which service providers want to stay outside the purview of registration to avoid taxability.
