MODEL GST LAW – GOODS AND SERVICES TAX ACT, 2016 – Draft June 2016
40. Consumer Welfare Fund
\n(1) There shall be established by the Central or a State Government a fund, to be called the Consumer Welfare Fund.
\n(2) There shall be credited to the Fund, in such manner as may be prescribed, –
\n(a) the amount of tax referred to in sub-section (4) or sub-section (4A) of section 38; and
\n(b) any income from investment of the amount credite<\/p>\n
